Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide has warned IPOB to desist from the planned attack on President Muhammadu Buhari in Japan. The President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth Council, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro had told IPOB that attacking President Buhari in Japan is not an achievement.

His statement was in a reaction to Nnamdi Kanu’s order to members of IBOP residing in Japan to humiliate and arrest President Buhari. He described the planned attack as senseless.

Further, he warned the members of IPOB they will be at the risk of being jailed or deported from Japan if they carry out the planned attack.

” We should vigorously defend our land while building across the Niger. We are praying for IPOB leaders to repent and stop jeopardizing the peaceful atmosphere we have experienced in the south-east since after the  war ended in 1970″

“Igbos are facing political and economic difficulties in Nigeria coupled with the uprising of insecurity emanating from herdsmen”, Isiguzoro said.
