Brits stripe off in Christmas Sunshine as temperature hits 10 degrees Celsius after floods and gales earlier in the week. It was a welcome holiday for them to have enjoyed sunny Christmas day today.
The sunshine was a big relief after 60mph winds, hail and torrential rainfall caused flooding earlier in the week. But despite the Met’s office forecast ruling out snow, the sun will soon vanish this week. The forecast expects more wind and rain on the Boxing day.
As many embarked on Christmas getaway, Brits were warned torrential downpour earlier in the week. A total of 138 flood alerts and 54 flood warnings were given on Monday night after severe flood battered south of England.
