Jose Mourinho is the New Tottenham Hotspur Manager

Jose Mourinho has been appointed new Tottenham Hotspur manager until the summer of 2023. The Portuguese tactician takes over from the Argentine manager, Mauricio Pochenttino who was sacked earlier this week. Spurs announced the sack of their Argentine boss after a poor run of results.


The Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur, Daniel Levy says, ” In Jose Mourinho, we have one of the most successful managers in football. He has a wealth of experience, can inspire teams and is a great tactician. He has won honours at every club he coached. We believe he will bring energy and believe in the dressing room.”

Jose Mourinho has won the league title in every country he has managed a club: Portugal, England, Italy and Spain. He is a  three-time Premier League winner in charge of Chelsea. He won the treble with Inter Millan in 2010 and led Real Madrid to La Liga glory in 2011/2012.

Tottenham have turned to Jose Mourinho to salvage their season. Tottenham chose to make a change after the international break as the club is still in 14th position in the premier league after 12 rounds.

The 56 -year-old Portuguese born tactician has been without a job since December 2018 he was fired by Manchester United after too many issues with players and the club chiefs.
