Meet Six Africans to Play UEFA Campion League Final in Madrid

The 2018/19 UEFA Champions league is remarkable in many ways.  The season is a great come back for English football and African players.

Liverpool and Tottenham will meet in Madrid on June 1, 2019. The remarkable thing for the meeting is that the trophy is coming to England.

Six Africans will play in the final of the UEFA Champions League. It is a good run for the African players.

Mohammed Sallah of Egypt plays for Liverpool.   Liverpool  FC games and goals are  56/28. Sallah is Liverpool forward.





Naby Keita is from Guinea. He may be the first from his country to win the trophy. It is in doubt if he will be in the lineup. He is nursing an injury. Keita has played 25 games and scored 3 goals for Liverpool this season. He plays in the midfield.




Sadio Mane is a key player for Liverpool in the UEFA Champion league final. He played 57 games and scored 26 goals for Liverpool this season. Mane is Liverpool FC forward.





If Liverpool wins the Trophy, Joel Matip will be the third Camerounian to win Champions League. Two other players that won it before now are Samuel Eto’o and Geremi Njitap. He has played 28 games and scored 1 goal this season. He is a Liverpool FC defender.




Serge Aurier will join the likes of Didier Drogba, Yahaya Toure, Salomon Kalou to win it. This will happen if Tottenham wins the trophy. He is a Liverpool defender.




Victor Wanyama will be the second Kenyan to win the trophy if Tottenham beats Liverpool. He played 12 games and scored 1 goal for Tottenham this season. Wanyama is a midfielder
