
Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) in a teleconference meeting Wednesday Evening to implement inter-state lockdown for the next 14 days. They noted through the chairman, Dr Kayode Fayemi that the decision became necessary to contain the fast spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria, especially on community transmission.
NGF commended the effort of the health workers and observed some minutes silence for all who lost their lives through the pandemic.
They also agreed to set up regional committee COVID-19 on regional levels to be headed by state commissioners of health. The committee is to strengthen the efforts of the state task force committee
