Patrick Crusius: El Paso Shooting Suspect Pleaded Not Guilty on Thursday

August 3, 2019, mass shooting suspect that killed 22 persons at El Paso Walmart: Patrick Crusius pleaded not guilty in court on Thursday. He is from Allen, Texas.

Police authorities in Texas identified the gunman as Patrick Crusius, 20 years, from a Dallas Suburb. After the shooting late Saturday morning, he surrendered to Police outside the Walmart.

Patrick Crusius is accused of using AK-47 style rifle in the attack and told the police after his arrest he wanted to kill as many Mexicans as possible.

The massacre in El Paso was the deadliest American shooting since November 2017 when 26 people were killed in a church shooting in Sutherland Springs, Tex.

Crusius is to face hate crimes prosecution for an act of domestic terrorism.

Before his arraignment in court on Thursday, security was beefed up and had the families of the victims enter through another line.

Judge Sam Medrano scheduled another hearing on November 7, 2019, by 2 pm.
