Three Minneapolis Police at Scene of Floyd’s Death Not Spared, Charged with Second Degree Murder

Three Minneapolis police at the scene of George Floyd’s death were not spared . They were also charged with second degree murder for aiding and abetting as announced by Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison on Wednesday.

The three police officers are Thomas Lane ,  J. Alexander Kueng and Tou Thao. While Thomas Lane and Alexander Lane helped to restrain George Floyd, Tou Thao stood looking.

George Floyd is a -46- year old black killed by Minneapolis officer Derek Chauvin on May 25, 2020. He pressed his knee on the neck of Handcuffed Floyd, face down for about nine minutes. Floyd died as a result of such violence.
